While planning to make welded steel pipe, you need to check whether you have prepared enough tools, such as welding goggles, hand-held propane torch, welding rod and so on. During the burning of welding rod, it would produce strong light. Thereby, you need to make sure that you have worn the welding goggles to protect your eyes before starting the making process.

In order to insure the quality of the welded steel pipe, you could apply the preheating method to the steel pipe. Heat the ends which are going to be welded. Then you could light the welding rod and use the melted rod to cover the surface of the steel pipe joints. Wait a few minutes to let the steel pipes cool down. As we all know, the metal are endowed with excellent thermal conductivity and so you do not need to wait too long.

Before applying the welded steel pipe to your pipe system, it is necessary to test its quality. The joints should be strong enough to endure certain pressure. According to your requirements, you could apply suitable pressure to the welded parts of the pipe, and then inspect whether the joints begin to break or crack. And the same time, you need to determine the sealing condition of the pipes as well. Fill the pipe with water or other liquid and find if there is any leak.

During the process to make welded steel pipe, you could pay attention to your safety from the start to the end. The strong light created by the burning welding rod should be prevented from being looked at directly. The proper device would be much helpful to insure your safety of eyes. You should follow the process strictly and obey the rules to reduce the risk to get injured. If you want to find more information to keep your safety, you could visit: www.xinlinsteel.com
